The Sim800L module is capable of sending SMS messages, making and receiving calls, GPRS connectivity, etc., just like a phone, but it has the smallest size among SIM modules (25 mm x 22 mm). The module is easily controlled using AT commands, and the connector pins use standard 100mil male headers.
